sandy pfefferle forster, owner

the original little pepper, sandy paid homage to her german roots by giving her company the english translation of her maiden name (though it might have been more fun to stick with pfefferle – you can’t say that name and frown.) a graduate of the college of st. benedict, sandy’s days as a collegiate rugby player helped prepare her for raising three boys. now, running little pepper promotions is her latest way to channel her eminent energy. she’s been known to do hot yoga before the sun rises and bike through remote areas of Europe as well. we’re not sure she sleeps.

max forster, president

max’s impressive background in advertising brings fresh flavor to our little pepper mix. organized, hard-working, and detailed-oriented, max is poised to propel little pepper to new heights. as an ardent player, coach, and fan, max’s agile versatility presents a winning formula for both our team and clients. max displays deep commitment, whether to his work at little pepper, his family and friends, his love of music, or his penchant for eating anything and everything he can get his hands on. we are delighted to welcome back little pepper’s very first intern!

kirsten makela, director of operations

kirsten was drawn to little pepper’s project coordinator role because it aligns all of her favorite things: spreadsheets, relationship-building, and a few office dogs. kirsten’s love of strategy stems from her years working as a statistics manager at a bustling call center, so choreographing new ways to reach new goals was a perfect match. thanks to her pep and self-starting attitude, kirsten gets us all information - fitting, given that she’s a card-carrying member of beyoncé’s beyhive. after graduation from st. ben’s (sensing a staff pattern?), kirsten moved to the twin cities and landed in the ne mpls neighborhood, a wonderland she’s since been exploring. when she’s not managing our orders, kirsten’s both a sports player and avid watcher (go twins!), podcast listener, and ardent fan of all-things cheese.

caroline murray, summer intern

meet caroline, our newest little pepper. she is an adventurous intern who brings a world of experiences to our team. currently a senior at st.bens, she studied abroad in greece, fueling her love for travel. with a passion for music, caroline embraces diverse genres and finds joy in connecting with others through music. she also adores dogs, loving them like family. you can find her on the lake or indulging in the vibrant flavors of mexican, italian, and greek cuisines. caroline's vibrant spirit and diverse interests make her a valuable asset to our team as we embark on exciting little pepper projects together

hattie, chief morale officer

when she’s not melting hearts, hattie works double-duty as both our chief morale officer and quality control specialist, ensuring little pepper’s smallest swag is up to snuff. hattie gets the importance of work-life balance and can often be found circulating the office for treats, examining her reflection in the fridge, and executing a full puppy-takeover in max’s office.
